North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Group recently honored four local agents, Alan Wilson, Mike Harden, Faye Davis, and Eric Michaels. They were named among the Top 75 in North Carolina for 2003. They were selected from more than 700 agents statewide, based on outstanding sales and service record on multi-lines of insurance during 2003.
    Kim Hinsdale Faucette  of Wachovia Securities Burlington office has been recently promoted to Associate Vice President-Investment Officer. She joined Wachovia Securities in October 1997, as a Client Service Assistant and in 2000, she was promoted to the position of Financial Advisor after completing her brokerage licenses. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in business administration. She is married to Andy Faucette  and they reside in Elon.
    Richard Surles Jr. of The Village Grill restaurant, 580 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington, has been recently promoted to Assistant Manager. "Richie" his preferred name, graduated from Williams High School and East Carolina University in Greenville with a bachelor of science degree in economics and a minor in business. His career began with The Village Grill 10 years ago as a dishwasher. He is married to Tricia Crabtree Surles and they reside in Burlington.
    Kelly Kernodle has recently joined On Site Real Estate. She is their newest agent and a graduate of J.Y. Monk Real Estate School in Concord. She is married to Larry Kernodle and they have two children, Avery and Brianna
    Linda K. Currie of Snow Camp recently passed the National Coding Exam for Ophthalmology, and is now a Certified Coding Specialist. She has been working in Ophthalmology with Dr. Harold N. Jacklin in Greensboro for 15 years.
