Kimberly Dawn Hinsdale of Elon became the bride of Andrew Swain Faucette of Burlington at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at St. Mark’s Reformed Church, Burlington. The Rev. Robert Disher Jr. officiated, and music was by Susan Pyles, organist/pianist; Earl Thompson, trumpeter; and Kellie Satterfield, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Rey of Whitsett and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hinsdale of Burlington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wagoner of Winston-Salem and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hinsdale of Haw River. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Faucette of Burlington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roney Faucette of Mebane and the late Mr. and Mrs. Maddrey Wilson.
The bride wore a strapless gown of white satin and organza with an empire bodice, an A-line skirt with a banded hem of embroidered satin. Her veil with satin trim was secured to a tiara with jewels.
Matron of honor was Glenda Perreault of Burlington. Bridesmaids were Erin Faucette , Jill Plunkett, Kelley Mooney, Mattie Smith, Rebecca Mann and Susan Moss, all of Burlington, Amanda Fields of Graham and Kellie Satterfield of Gibsonville.
The groom’s father was best man. Groomsmen were Brad Faucette of Atlanta, Ga.; Brandon Hinsdale, Clay Plunkett, Richard Fisher and Callum Brown, all of Burlington; Brian Jordan of Chicago, Ill.; Zachary Matheny of Greensboro; and Kevin Cooper of Raleigh. Ushers were Nicholas Smith and Jonathan Blackard of Burlington.
Flower girl was Grayson Brown of Burlington, and miniature bride was Brittany Haste of Clemmons. Program attendant was Laura Fisher of Burlington.
Wedding director was Carol Oakley of Burlington, and guest registrar was Ashleigh Brown of Burlington.
The bride graduated from Western Alamance High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor of science degree in busines administration with a minor in marketing. A member of the Burlington Junior Women’s Club, she is employed with Wachovia Securities, Burlington, as a financial adviser and a partner with Candace Rey.
The groom graduated from Williams High School and N.C. State University, Raleigh, with a bachelor of science degree in textile management with a minor in business finance. He is treasurer of the Graham Rotary Club and a member of the Alamance Business Club. He is an agent with Farm Bureau Insurance Group, Burlington.
The couple was entertained with a rehearsal dinner and reception at Alamance Country Club.
The couple will live in Elon.
