HAW RIVER — Samuel C. "Bud" Faucette, 66, of 130 Circle Drive, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.
    He was retired from Faucette’s Furniture and a member of Haw River Christian Church for 34 years, serving as a deacon and a trustee. He was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and was the current president of the North Carolina Eastern Regional Chapter #17. He was a member of the Haw River Historical Association and the Haw River Senior Citizens.
    Survivors include his wife, Nancy Phillips Faucette of the home; sons, Samuel Faucette (Vickie) of Mebane and Tim Faucette (Diane) of Haw River; daughters, Karla F. Robbins (John) of Graham and Kelly F. Hinnant (Mark) of Burlington; grandsons, Adam Rudd, Isaac Faucette, Jacob Faucette, Alex Rudd, Phillip Robbins, and Nathan Robbins; granddaughters, Kim Drews and Brooke Moore; brothers, Joseph T. Faucette (Linda) and William L. Faucette (Rita), all of Mebane; and sisters, Hilda F. Parker (Charles) of Julian, Mary F. McClure (David) of Monroe, and Melody "Dee" F. Earl (James) of Greensboro.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Durant Faucette and Mabel Dixon Faucette.
    The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Haw River Christian Church by the Rev. Brian Biggers, and the Rev. James L. Rosser. Burial will be in Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery.
    Visitation will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening.
