Two family trees on Ancestry.com give her DOM as 23 Nov 1906. Check this.

The 1900 U.S. Census says she was born in Mississippi. I don’t know if this is correct or an error.

She was called Sallie.

Her 1920 U.S. Census entry indicates that both her parents were born in Tennessee.


Mrs. N. D. Cook of 195 Hunnicutt street, N.W., died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. W. H. Lloyd, Mrs. J. E. Cannon, Mrs. W. L. Hanner, Mrs. E. D. Houston, Mrs. C. A. Boyce, and Miss Ramona meriwether; two sons, Mr. H. K. and Staff Sereant W. W. Meriwether. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the chapel of A. C. Hemperley & Sons. Interment, College Park cemetery.

Interment College Park cemetery. Pallbearers selected please assemble at the chapel at 3:15.
