The part that involves Joseph Henderson is on page 541 and 564 below: Page 561 James Lea made his will 28 Mar 1771 Proven Mar 1792 naming sons William Lea, John Lea and Major Lea, executors; children were not named.; inventory Mar Court 1792, Bk B, p.454 sale of estate 17 Jul 1792 (Rec Bk C page 31) April Court 1793; final settlement Apr Ct 1796 (Bk C p. 157) Jacob Miles, Jr. , Luke Lea, Joseph Henderson (for 1st wife), William Lea, Joseph Henderson (for 2nd wife {Adelphia}), Isabella Graves, Paul Haralson & Major Lea, & John Lea executors. This is James Lea of the Country Line. His cousin was James Lea of Kilgore's Branch. He came to Orange Co (later Caswell Co), NC from Spotsylvania Co, VA about 1752. His first deed dated 1754 on Country Line Creek. He was Justice of the Peace in Orange County, NC, in 1769.
